Subcircle is a privacy-first subscription tracking platform that analyzes bank statements to identify recurring subscriptions. Key aspects:

• • Automatic detection of recurring subscriptions
• • Files are permanently deleted after 7 days
• • Family subscription management features
• • AI-powered insights and recommendations

3. Privacy and Data Handling

Privacy is fundamental to our service:

• • Bank statement files are automatically deleted after 7 days
• • No permanent storage of financial account information
• • Magic link authentication only (no passwords)
• • Compliance with New Zealand Privacy Act 2020
• • No selling or sharing of financial data

4. User Responsibilities

Users agree to:

• • Provide accurate information for account registration
• • Only upload bank statements they own or have permission to analyze
• • Not attempt to reverse engineer or compromise the service
• • Use the service for personal/family subscription management only
• • Respect the intellectual property rights of Subcircle

5. Prohibited Uses

Users may not:

• • Upload bank statements belonging to others without permission
• • Use the service for commercial subscription analysis without authorization
• • Attempt to extract or reverse engineer our AI algorithms
• • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
• • Interfere with the security or operation of the service

6. Service Availability

While we strive for high availability, Subcircle is provided "as is" without warranty of uninterrupted service. We may temporarily suspend service for maintenance or updates.

7. Limitation of Liability

Subcircle provides subscription analysis as a convenience tool. We are not liable for financial decisions made based on our analysis. Users should verify all subscription information independently.

8. Account Termination

Either party may terminate service at any time. Upon termination, all user data including uploaded files and analysis results will be permanently deleted.

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms occasionally. Users will be notified of significant changes via email. Continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by New Zealand law. Any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of New Zealand courts.
